Dr Bharti Chhibber

Dr Prof Bharti Chhibber has been teaching in University of Delhi, India for about seventeen years. She is a well known academic, author, socio-political analyst and an environmentalist working, extensively writing and speaking in India and abroad for many years in the field of international relations, foreign diplomacy, multilateralism, South Asia, South East Asia, EU, Indo-Pacific, SDGs, gender, climate change, and renewable energy. Dr Chhibber has received many fellowships, has served as a Scientific Committee member, Academic Advisor, Member of Editorial Board and is regularly invited as a subject expert in electronic and print media interviews and discussions. A meritorious scholar throughout her academic pursuit, she did her B.A. Hons. and M.A. from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi and M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, India. She has published books and more than 150 research papers and articles in mainstream journals to her credit. She has been an invited visiting faculty, keynote & plenary speaker, and has presented papers in various national and international conferences and seminars both in various parts of India and in many foreign countries. She has also worked extensively with other organizations to create awareness and empower people on environmental, educational and gender issues. Further, Prof Chhibber wrote and directed street plays on environmental conservation and gender issues which have received wide appreciation.
