Shweta Karki is currently a Research Associate with AIDIA. She graduated from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Tribhuvan University in 2018 as a Topper with the Gold Medal, and has remained actively engaged in academia since then. She is also a Regular Teaching Faculty at DIRD, TU and was previously associated with the Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies (CNAS) as a part-time editor. She has publications on various online platforms, and has contributed to academic journals. Her research interests are within the areas of human security and development, small states theory, international law and international human rights.
