Khadga Bahadur Bisht is the founder member and Immediate Past President of Independent Power Producers' Association, Nepal (IPPAN). He is Head of Stakeholder Management & Business Development at Himal Power Limited and has Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's Degree in Energy Economics from AIT, Bangkok and is a gold medalist in Executive MBA. He has more than 25 years of professional experience starting from Nepal Electricity Authority, Asia Pacific Energy Singapore, Vattenfall Generation Services Laos, SwedPower in Thailand, Chaudhary Group Nepal to now with Himal Power Limited. He also served as Plant Manager of Khimti Power Plant during 2001-2005.
