Seminar on Nepal Inland Waterways

Despite the potential of developing Nepali rivers as waterways for trans- boundary connectivity as well as domestic connectivity, Nepal has not been able to develop river navigation system. The current undeveloped state of rivers in Nepal does provide a space for instituting an inland waterways system with an objective of transboundary connectivity.

This Seminar intended to focus particularly on the inland waterways connectivity between Nepal and India and aims to bring around 100 people including policy makers, government authorities, business personnel, trade experts, water resource engineers, academicians and other concerns stakeholders to discuss and explore primarily and extensively on ‘Cross-Border Inland Waterways: Exploring New Avenues of Connectivity’
