Sameer Patil is Director of Centre for International Security and Fellow in National Security Studies at the Mumbai-based foreign policy think tank, Gateway House: Indian Council on Global Relations. At Gateway House, Sameer focuses on counter-terrorism, cyber security and defence business. Prior to this, he was Assistant Director at the National Security Council Secretariat in Prime Minister’s Office, New Delhi, where he handled counter-terrorism and regional security desks. Sameer has written extensively on various aspects of national security including counter-terrorism, cyber security, border security and defence.
