Shweta Karki graduated from the Department of International Relations and Diplomacy, Tribhuvan University in 2018 with the Gold Medal, and has remained actively engaged in the academia since then. She has been a Regular Teaching Faculty at DIRD, TU since February 2019. and is associated with the Centre for Nepal and Asian Studies (CNAS) as a part-time editor. She has publications on various online platforms, and has contributed to academic Journals as well. Her research interests are within the areas of human security and development, small states theory, international law and international human rights.
