Blerim Shala is a publicist, politician, and expert in
 international relations. He is the founder of the daily
 newspaper "Zëri." Shala holds degrees in philosophy and
 sociology from the University of Prishtina. He was a key
 member of Kosovo's negotiating teams at the Rambouillet
 Peace Conference, coordinator of Kosovo's delegation in the
 negotiations for defining Kosovo's status, and coordinator
 of Kosovo's team in the Brussels negotiations. Shala was
 also a co-founder of the Youth Parliament/Parliamentary
 Party of Kosovo and served as a member of the Kosovo
 Assembly for two terms.
