AS AN INTERN IN ASIAN INSTITUTE OF DIPLOMACY AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS(AIDIA)
The Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs is a diplomacy think tank, creating a thinking space for those who take deep interest in aspiring foreign policy and economic diplomacy. The internship would be an ideal start for students aspiring to pursue a career in foreign policy diplomacy, economic diplomacy or policy making.
The objective of our internship program is to provide a practical translation of theoretical facets of international relations and foreign policy.The internship will impart an insider experience of the organization andprovide adequate exposure and opportunities to workwith remarkable professional, government officials, diplomats and our team. It carves the way for applying theoretical knowledge to real world issues. Here we encourage each individual to be a part of our wide network that leads to creating new opportunities in the field.
• Enrolled in master’s degree or PHD or in the final year of bachelor degree .
• Excellent command in English. Knowledge of English language is mandatory while expertise in other languages will be appreciated.
Each internship program will be one month/three months/six months long, depending on the nature and necessities of the project. We also offer summer internship and winter internship for students willing to join us on their academic breaks.
All cost related to travel, insurance and accommodation should be borne by the intern themselves.
All our interns will be given exposure not only to work the first experience but also to recognize and analyze the foreign relations allowing and encouraging them to write and publish papers and articles. Letter of experience and recommendation will be given to every intern who completes their tenure. Letter of excellence will also be granted based on their performance.

a. Curriculums vitiate.
b. Minimum one reference letter
c. Statement of purpose (the SOP must clearly mention the field that the candidate wishes to work on, along with proposed start and end date of the internship)
d. Minimum two articles, word limit not exceeding 1000 to 2000 words .(published/unpublished)
All the above documents are required to reach headquarter of AIDIA, located at Kathmandu prior a month of internship enrollment.
The foreign nationals aspiring to intern in AIDIA would require a research visa for the duration of internship program. AIDIA will provide a letter of affiliation for the selected candidates. For any other queries please contact AIDIA at email@example.com.
