About Dr. Angana Guha Roy

Dr. Angana Guha Roy is Associate Director of Research at the Asian Institute Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA). She has worked as a Fellow for the John Lukacs Institute for Strategy and Politics Ludovika University of Public Services and Hungarian Institute of International Affairs in Budapest in the past.

 

Dr. Roy completed her Ph.D. in Foreign Policy from the Department of East Asian Studies, University of Delhi. Her thesis focused on the semantics and scope of Middle Power in International Relations with a focus on South Korea’s New Asia Initiative adopted in 2013.While pursuing her Ph.D she worked with several prestigious think tanks in New Delhi like Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER) and Delhi Policy Group.
