As landlocked nations, Nepal and Uzbekistan share common challenges and obstacles in trade, connectivity and economic development. However, the shifting connectivity landscape in Central and South Asia presents new opportunities for enhanced cooperation. This policy brief examines the strategic potential for strengthening ties between the two countries by addressing key developmental constraints to overcome limited engagement. Additionally, it emphasises leveraging the comparative advantages of their respective economies to create mutual benefits. The brief concludes by offering important recommendations to enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation, fostering growth and development for both countries.
