ConMac 2018 - Nepal

ConMac 2018-Nepal, organized by Confederation of India Industry in association with the Embassy of India in Nepal and in consultation with Asian Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (AIDIA) was held on 22-24 November 2018 at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur.

 

The three-day construction equipment and technology exhibition — ConMac 2018 — was inaugurated on November 22 by Minister of Physical Infrastructure and Transport Raghubir Mahaseth in the presence of Ambassador of India to Nepal H.E. Manjeev Singh Puri.

 

More than 150 business exhibitors and companies showcased their products and services during this exhibition, including some of the largest companies such as JCB, L and T, Hyundai, Caterpillar and Tata Hitachi, among others. More than 6000 business visitors, especially from the contracting community and infrastructure companies working on infrastructural development sector from across Nepal, attended the ConMac 2018 construction and earthmoving equipment exhibition, which concluded on Saturday November 24.

 

According to a press statement issued by CII, visitors at the ConMac 2018 expressed that this exhibition has set a new benchmark for the standard of exhibition in Nepal in aspect of grandeur, professionalism, range of products and being focused on construction equipment.

 

The chairman of CII ConMac 2018 Arvind K Garg, stated that the three-day event was very productive and he expressed commitment to continue this cooperation from Indian businesses for the development of Nepal.

 

The participating companies, according to the organizer, expressed that exhibition like CII ConMac 2018 have been beneficial in strengthening the infrastructural sector of Nepal.
